Purpose and Actions Requested: Staff requests Village Board consideration of a resolution authorizing the Village Manager to execute a change order to a contract with Christopher B. Burke Engineering Ltd. of Rosemont, Illinois to provide preliminary engineering services for the Westley Road Multiuse Path for a total not to exceed $68,870.

BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS
The Village of Glencoe is currently constructing a new clubhouse and restaurant at the Glencoe Golf Club and installing improvements to the driving range. As part of these projects, the Village is also evaluating opportunities to improve pedestrian and bicycle connectivity and overall safety along Westley Road.
Westley Road is a two-lane local roadway under the Village's jurisdiction. The roadway includes curb and gutter but no sidewalks. In fall 2025, the Village retained Christopher B. Burke Engineering, Ltd. (CBBEL) to complete a feasibility study evaluating the installation of a multiuse path connecting the Glencoe Golf Club to Green Bay Road and adjacent regional trail systems. The study evaluated three alternatives, including one alignment on the south side of Westley Road and two alignments on the north side.
This March, staff hosted an informational meeting with Westley Road residents to discuss several ongoing initiatives in the corridor, including the proposed multiuse path. Residents in attendance expressed a strong preference for a meandering path along the north side of Westley Roa...
