BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS
Attached, please find the June update of the Calendar Year 2026 Community Investment Program (CIP) schedule. Estimated delivery or completion dates for all projects have been added with the most current information available at this time. At the June 18 Village Board meeting, the Board will be asked to consider the following CIP purchases and/or contracts for Calendar Year 2026:
* The Driving Range Netting contract award for a total amount of $126,538.86.
* The Golf Club Replacement Project Owner Costs for the purchase of golf simulators for a total amount of $39,490 and the contract award for the short game and croquet court for a total amount $255,398.
* The final plan for the Downtown Streetscape and Parking Study.
Changes to the CY 2026 CIP Timeline include:
* The Westley Road Multiuse Path Engineering has been delayed as information from the feasibility study continues to be coordinated with the neighboring residents and the Cook County Forest Preserves.
* The Village Hall South Entry Renovation & Fire Bay Driveway Replacement has been delayed an additional month as coordination with the Village Hall Space Needs Analysis has been finalized.
* The Water Plant Site Security Final Design & Construction concept plan results are still being finalized and will determine the scope of work for engineering plans.
* The Servers and Other Network Infrastructure Upgrades & Sewer SCADA Consulting & OT Equipment Upgrades are both continuing the scoping process.
